A Few Brief Reviews For You!
Author, Antonio R. Garcez, makes a salient point in the introduction to his latest collection of Ghost Stories. “…we, gay and lesbian people, have been given a very unique and precious gift. A gift that, if developed, allows us to see, communicate and experience the paranormal from childhood.” What an interesting thought!
What we have here is a compendium of first hand accounts, by LGBT folk, of their encounters with the paranormal. There are dozens of very thought-provoking stories of encounters with the world beyond our world. The stories are arranged by state; Alaska, Arizona, California, etc., and run the gamut from sweet and poignant to hair raising. They are perfect bedtime stories. It’s a delightful read.

American Indian Ghost Stories of the West is an utterly stunning work of Literature. Written by a Native American, it is the first time I have seen oral stories of intersections with the supernatural compiled in a set like this by Native Americans telling their experiences to another Native American. The stories are riveting accounts of not just terrifying "ghosts" (an often taboo topic in Native American culture) but also of what appear to be unique portals in time where Native Americans experienced the help, direction, and support of ancestors who came to guide or protect them. I started to read American Indian Ghost Stories of the West and was initially greeted by numerous cold chills so I smudged the book & myself with white sage & brought the light of protection over me. Wow...a fascinating, excellent book that is very well written! I'm having a hard time putting it down.

Rob & Anne Wlodarski, G-HOST Publishing
The book gives a hauntingly accurate overview to the many reports of haunted sites all over the state. It not only lists the places from north to south but quotes the interviews of eyewitnesses giving a remarkable feeling of being there with them as they encounter the unknown.

These are not long-ago cowboy yarns, but very real, very current ghost stories from a rich and chilling mix of voices. Antonio has a rare talent for telling detail; he paints unforgettably creepy images that linger long after the book is done. Chris Woodyard, "Spooky Ohio" and "Haunted Ohio"
